Where are you Perfect Pumpkin?
Right around the corner at one of the church's Pumpkin Patch! Even though there are lots of pumpkin patches in the area, we decided to go to this little one. We loved it! Ryan had such a blast looking for pumpkins..He picked up tons of them! The boys posed for pictures...I mean, I followed them around and HOPED to get a few good ones. LOL We purchased a few pumpkins of various sizes and then the boys had fun playing in the hay! I think Noah liked it more though...Ryan didn't like it getting in his shoes. We then ate the BEST Kettle Korn Ever!!! wow!! Can you say my diet was off that day or what? We then purchased a pound of sliced Beef Brisket! OMGGGG!!!!! It was the BEST brisket EVER! we just sat there and shared it. It was simple and it was FUN!
I will leave you with some photos....
Ryan was so sad to leave the pumpkin patch :(

Noah's 9th Birthday and Scott's 35th!
Yikes! Another year has gone by! Last weekend we celebrated Noah's 9th Birthday and Scott's 35th Birthday! OMG! My son is 9 years old. That is so hard to even say outloud! NINE!!!! wow!!! and Scott is 35! woohooo!! We celebrated Noah's party on Saturday (but his bday was really on Sunday) and we celebrated Scott's Bday Lunch on Sunday (but his bday was really on Saturday)..Yah it is backwards...they kinda switched...I have to say that it really SUCKS to have their birthdays next to each other. At first it was awwww Kinda cute..but NOT anymore! LOL
We went to the Houston Zoo for Noah's Birthday. His best friend, Ezekiel came along. My mom and Sister were able to come into town and celebrate with us which was a real treat!! Here we go ready to head out to the zoo. Ryan, Noah, and Ezekiel all sported their binocualrs (courtesty of MOI)
It took us Forever to get a parking spot (who knew the Zoo was that busy?) But we finally made our way but did stop for a few photos
We had a great time..it was HOT though. Ryan had a blast looking at the animals. He had never been to a zoo before and Noah and Ezekiel loved looking at the animals too. Those 2 boys were good as Gold!
Ryan had the best seat in the house though :)
Noah and Ezekiel really enjoyed using their binocualrs too :)
Noah and Ryan both loved feeding the giraffe. I don't think we were supposed to do this though. LOL
I was worried that Ryan would be in the way for Noah and his friend but they all got along really well! I was proud of all of them!!
Later, after buying a ton of things in the gift shop, We went on over to Double Dave's for Noah's Favorite pizza (and mine too) LOL
We went home to have the Cake for Both Scott and Noah! YES a ton of cake!!
Noah enjoyed being the 'KING' for the day and his party!!
I loved the bow so much that we added it to his head! LOL
Noah got alot of Cash, alot of Video games for his DS, PS3 and Wii..He really loved his cookie cake too.
Scott also loved his cake (Linda's Fudge Cake from the Cheesecake Factory)...I KNOW he got his Chocolate fix on it. Half of it is still sitting in the fridge over a week later. LOL
They did an awful job with his name on that piece of white chocolate. Ryan could have done a better job. LOL I called to complain but they didn't seem to care.......NEVER will I get a cake there again.
Scott received a TOMTOM navigation system which he desparately NEEDS!!! He loved it..it is the latest and greatest too :)
Noah loved his balloons and of course Ryan had to get a balloon TOO!
That night ended with Noah and his friend playing video games. They slept on the blow-up mattress and played games til 3AM! BOY! Was I tired the next day!!
The following day was Scott's day to Celebrate with his Lunch!! He wanted some Italian so we went to Buca Di Beppo!! We loved it as always!!
Our appetizer was super duper yummy! LOL It was Brushetta (sp might be wrong)..They have the BEST ever!
Scott and I managed to sit next to each other, Which is REALLY rare!
Noah and Nanna (my Mom) also were able to sneak a picture!

Privileged...
Have you seen it? Well as you know, I love love watching TV shows (that are dvr'd of course).....cannot STAND commercials. So I am dvr happy..recording Everything that looks interesting..One particular is Privileged. I really like that program. I think it is becoming one of my favorites. All of the characters are nice to look at..did I just say characters? Gosh!! those cartoons are getting to me. LOL Well the actors and actresses is what I meant :)
IF you have never watched it, give it a try. IT is much better than the new 90210...I wonder why they actually call it 90210 since it is NOTHING like the 90210 that I grew up with. Another program that is new that I really enjoy is Gary Unmarried...that is really funny..I am a bit sad though that he isn't playing on Ghost Whisperer anymore. I am sooo glad to see that The New Adventures of Old Christine, the Big Bang Theory, and Private Practice are back :)
I did watch the Mentalist and Fringe..but I am not too sure that I am totally getting into them. Has anyone seen Pushing Daisies?? OMG!! I try to watch it, but I dunno...is really weird...I hate the voice that talks in the background..You know what I mean?
Some more favs of mine from season to season are Supernatural, House, Gray's Anatomy, Ugly Betty, Ghost Whisperer, and Ghost Hunters.
On a different note...Have I mentioned that Noah got his Yellow belt? WE are sooo proud of him and his grades are awesome in school too!! The birthday weekend is just around the corner...will have more later..........

Surrendering My Louisiana Driver's License
Yesterday was NOT easy! I have been living in TX for almost 2 years now but was still holding on to my LA license. WHY? Because maybe just maybe I was hoping to move back...Is my hope gone about moving back? NO it's not but I had to get my TX license because I want to VOTE for President. I am registered in LA but I need to be registered here so that I can vote...the deadline is Monday, so I just made it!!
I have to say that the State place is different than getting it in LA..In LA it is at the Department of Motor Vehicles..but over here it is Department of Public Safety...and it was DIRTY!!! Tons of people that you really never want to actually see for an extended period of time but are forced to due to waiting FOREVER!! First of all, I was a nervous wreck trying to find the darn place. It was hard to find in Conroe...it was in the freakin STICKS!!! COUNTRY as HELL...LOL I thought I was in the twilight zone...the area looked abandoned!! NOT a good experience. The kids were a nightmare. Ryan was yelling "Pacawn" the whole time and YAH I know I didn't spell it right...but that is how he was saying it..So then the more Noah laughed the more Ryan yelled it...ohhhh that was fun!! the sign there so NO EATING AND DRINKING AND TURN OFF CELL PHONE IN LINE...well of course all the rules were broken! Ryan ate goldfish the entire time and topped that off with Juice and water...Then after finally getting my number "109" called to get into line to wait some more....My CELL PHONE rings!!! IT never rings!!! OMG!!!! I got the dirtiest of dirty looks from the workers and from the customers...they were looking at me like "awwww she is the one with her cell ringing"...I wanted to DIE!!! and wanted to tell them to "bite me". haha...but I just stood there hoping to get served soon :)
So after I do the eye exam which I almost puked from seeing how dirty that thing is where you are supposed to put your forehead (I put a napkin and pressed with my hands. LOL) and the color exam, paying my dues, signing 2 times...Once for my Temporary PAPER LICENSE...YES I SAID paper. WTH?? a Paper license...OMG!!! Yah they mail it to you in 2-6 weeks..gosh!! IN LA, you get your license right there!!! IN fact, it is still warm when ya get it. And they say LA is slower... YAH RIGHT!!!
Since Ike, I haven't taken many pictures...It is taking me a while to get my spirit back...Ike took it away for a while...BUT I'm getting back on track with my picture taking (yay)...mainly have been getting errands and chores done to get everything back to normal...We have Noah's birthday next weekend! OMG!! MY BABY BOY is turning 9 years old (sniff sniff)...Where does the time go?? AND Scott's bday is also next weekend...so we will have many pics to come.
We will hopefully have a fun day today!!
Still in mourning over surrendering my Louisiana Driver's license (they took it).................
